Sanger Prep

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sanger Prep, the second of the 12 Dallas ISD schools to receive a new Casio piano, thanks to Maestro Bruno and the Dallas Education Foundation. I spent the day with over 430 students, bringing my total to over 5,550 kids reached through Miles for Music!

The students, from all grade levels, were full of energy and excitement as I performed on the new piano, read my books, and shared lessons on creativity, self-expression, and confidence. It was inspiring to see how the students connected with the music, experimenting with different tempos and guessing the emotions behind each piece.

It’s been amazing to see how music can inspire and impact these students. I’m so grateful to the Dallas Education Foundation for making it possible, and I can't wait to continue bringing the gift of music to more schools.
